Olszewski is widely acknowledged as the master artist for miniature
figurines, through his positions within M.I. Hummel and Goebel Miniatures
Studios. In 1993 he was named "International Collectible Artist
of the Year" and he established his private studios in 1994.
In 1995, the Walt Disney Company engaged him to prototype the miniature
figurines we have grown to love as part of the Enchanted Places
Program within the Walt Disney Classics Collection.
the year 2000, Mr. Olszewski announced the creation of his own line
of miniature figurines, authorized by the Walt Disney Company. His
Storytime miniatures represent a series of vignettes, typically
less than three inches across, that collectively tell our most beloved
Disney stories. Pinnochio, Cinderella, Snow White, Sleeping Beauty,
Peter Pan and Winnie the Pooh are already being told in miniature
format. Each piece is being made in limited editions. We are fortunate
that every scene is still available, although some are already in
stock the entire line of miniature figurines, along with the story
postcards and Storybook albums needed to start a complete set.
